Nostalgia, brainstorms, and refirtilization.

Thinking back on it had it's quiet kind of charm. A scowl it characters that weren't executed properly, mistakes here and there, things that didn't make any damn sense at all in hindsight, and so on.

The people who's names were pulled out of my ass, or just too hard to pronounce that they were forgotten.

I've been restructuring the entire history of the group in my head. I made a fair bit of the characters solid - admittedly, half of the genuinely good characters that were made never even saw the light of day besides an absent mention - even if I gave them inane names. The problem was that the reasons they were all in this little group was never really well-designed, and it was probably done on a whim.

Just picking it up, dusting it a bit, and patching a few things won't work. I think I'm going to rework the entire thing. I don't want to use them for anything - somehow, it just feels indecent to use them for anything that isn't purely personal - but it's kind of a moral thing at this point. Leaving it half-assed would just be a shame.

Perhaps something useful will come from this. A certain character might have potential outside use as a foundation, or it'll simply show something interesting I can play with. Outside of trying to redo the slightly retarded / potentially over-done concept of a publisher named Timothy aimlessly looking for the next new poetic prodigy - poetry was chosen purely because I personally don't care for poetry as a whole, so I could use a cynical, worn out publisher's POV on it with greater ease - I have no real ideas in what else to play with.
